Sometimes, she needs an interpreter:

“Mama, I sharp myself!” – Mama, I drew stripes all over my arms and legs with a green Sharpie.

“I slimed the Booty” – I licked the Pirate’s Booty and put it back in the bowl for your slimy enjoyment.

Sometimes, she gets the meaning across just fine:

“Daddy, I need help. My pants are fall-offing.”

  2. Hilarious! I love ‘isms. We get a lot from Sam now. Gavin has sort of passed that age, and I so miss it.

  3. I think I will adopt some of hers- i liked “slimming the booty”…
(I do that all the time when munching…I don’t get slimmer from that, but the bag does…)
    Fantastic!

  4. Awwww…fall-offing… Poor skinny baby. While it’s kind of sad it’s still super sweet and absolutely adorable! I love when kids are working on language. It’s definitely one of my favorite things about toddlerhood.
